Transport to Saskatoon
As there are no passenger trains going into Saskatoon, conference attendees can fly directly into Saskatoons' John Diefenbaker Airport (YXE). The airport is small and easy to navigate. You will arrive in the upper level of the airport and take the escalators down to baggage claim. Taxies are readily available outside of the main exit (ordering ahead isn't necessary unless there is a long line) or you can order an Uber or Lyft. It is approximately a 15 minute drive to the conference location at the Bessborough Hotel.
Most flying to Saskatoon from outside of Canada will connect through Toronto (host to Canada’s largest zoo), Vancouver (home to world renowned urban park, Stanley Park), Calgary (home to the famous Calgary Stampede which occurs at the beginning of July) or Winnipeg (a drive to see Churchill’s polar bears). These are very popular vacation travel destinations in Canada!
