Now accepting Symposium Submissions, Oral/Poster Abstract Submissions, Lightning Abstract Submissions, Workshop Proposals, and Community and Personal Experience Submissions!
​The deadline is 17:00 PST on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

Instructions for putting together submissions can be found by clicking on the below submission portals. Submissions regarding any aspect of anthrozoology will be considered.

An individual may be a co-author on multiple presentations but should be the presenter on only one presentation.
​
A Symposium features a 5-minute introduction from a Chair, three 15-minute themed presentations from three separate studies, and a 10-minute integrative presentation from a Discussant, followed by a group Q&A session.
A Standard Oral Presentation involves a 15-minute oral presentation followed by a 5-minute Q&A session.
A Poster Presentation involves presenting a poster during a designated poster session.
An Lightning Presentation involves a 5-minute oral presentation followed by a group discussion component.
A Workshop is a 1.5-2 hour session on one of a variety of topics including career development, skill building, and special interest topics.
A Community and Personal Experience Presentation involves presenting your community or personal experience and perspective on human-animal interactions and relationships.
ISAZ will offer Student Travel Awards, a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Award, and a Distinguished Anthrozoologist Award in 2025. Additionally, student presenters can opt-in to the Student Presentation Award Competition through the submission portals. The deadline for these awards is 17:00 PST on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
