Presenting and Registering

How do I submit an abstract for the conference?

Submissions are anticipated to open in November 2024 and are due January 29, 2025. Abstract submissions include 15-minute oral presentations, 5-minute lightning oral presentations, and poster presentations. We will also be accepting creative and personal experience submissions this year.

Submissions are anticipated to open in November 2024 and are due January 29, 2025.

As a presenter, do I need to register for the conference?​

Yes, all oral, poster, lightning, symposium, workshop, and creative and personal experience presenters are required to register in full for the conference.

Can I attend the conference without presenting?​

Yes! We welcome all attendees regardless of whether you are presenting or not.

​

When will submission decisions be communicated?

Decisions on submissions are anticipated to be communicated in mid-March 2025.

Is registration open?

Registration is anticipated to open in Spring 2025.

In-Person Format

​

What is the format of the conference?

We are extremely excited to host an in-person conference this year in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada! Unless there is a Canadian government-imposed international travel ban to Canada, we will not provide remote online attendance.

Will there be a hotel room block?

Will I need to have transportation from the hotel to the conference venue?​

If you book your accommodation using the hotel room block, you will be staying in the same building as the conference venue. Learn more about the conference venue here. Transportation is only needed if you choose to stay off-site, and you will be responsible for organizing your own transportation.

Will travel grants be offered?​

ISAZ will award Student Travel Awards, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Awards in 2025. The deadline for these awards was 17:00 PST on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. To learn more about these awards, visit the ISAZ Awards Page on the website.
