The historic Delta Bessborough Hotel (operated by Marriot) opened in 1935, and is a châteauesque-styled, 10-floor building alongside the South Saskatchewan River. Often called the “Castle on the River,” it is located in the highly accessible Central Business District of downtown, with quick access to all the lively areas of Saskatoon. It is a short and scenic walk along the Meewasin Valley Travel over the “University” or “Broadway” bridges to reach the Usask Campus, with ample amenities nearby such as the Saskatoon Farmer’s Market and Riverlanding.
